Saw a gorgeous black chick pull up to the lights on a beautiful summer Parisian night in a white one.Always thought it had to be black but looked otherworldly in white.Needless to say she had 2 young parisian men that pulled up alongside to provoke her throttle foot - lights went green and 2 of the early hot hatches lurched toward the horizon....there was a lull before engagement and then an unbelievably loud exhaust note approximating an explosion and that white shape was sucked into the horizon.I remember that summer so well as it was also the first release of scarface with that iconic poster of Al in the white suit.Small inconsequential memories for a man but huge resonant memories for a 16 year old.
